Garlic Butter Baked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Prepare the salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet or baking dish. Season each fillet with salt and pepper.
  3. Make the garlic butter mixture:
    • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped parsley.
  4. Top the salmon:
    • Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring each fillet is well coated.
