Pommes de terre à l’ail et au Parmesan
Pommes de Terre à l’Ail et au Parmesan
Ingredients
- 2 pounds (900g) baby potatoes or small new potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- Prepare the potatoes:
- Wash and scrub the potatoes clean. If the potatoes are larger than bite-sized, cut them in half or quarters to ensure they cook evenly.
- Season the potatoes:
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the potatoes to the bowl and toss well to coat them evenly with the seasoning mixture.
- Roast the potatoes:
- Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Stir the potatoes halfway through the cooking time to ensure even roasting.
- Add the Parmesan:
- About 5 minutes before the potatoes are done, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the potatoes. Return the potatoes to the oven and continue roasting until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Serve:
- Remove the potatoes from the oven and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Enjoy your Pommes de Terre à l’Ail et au Parmesan! These garlic Parmesan potatoes make a delicious side dish for any meal.
